Yes, I'm still alive.
Our story so far:
Since October, I've been working at a sports bar as a dishwasher. The pay eats ass, the people I work with are mostly cool (with the exception of a dick or 2), & the women...holy fuck, the women.
I've been attending probation-mandated "sex counseling" which is idiotic. At the beginning of April I "step up" to the second class. They can only keep me for a year after that, though.
I have no broadcast or cable TV haven't since I moved into my place in May, so I've seen nothing of S4 ENT. Odd that I saw more of the show in jail indeed, I've only seen about 70% of the entire show, so if anyone has tapes they'd be willing to copy & ship off...cheers, right?
I started a novel am 3 chapters & 30,000 words into it. Unfortunately, since I got this job, I have no time or energy to work on it anymore. Suck. All my money & time & energy is going into serving the Rob Gordon & Rob Fleming that have moved into my head & their crack fiend-like need for music at current count, there's 446 CDs & 295 tapes. I spend my free time making mixtapes for friends across the land, for coworkers who need exposure to more than just what the radio plays, & for people like Siegfried who just need help.
I'm heeding the terms of my probation...liberally. That's all I'll say about that.
No girlfriend...at least, not as such. I met a girl named Leah who I've been fucking around with, both literally & figuratively. Fortunately, her boyfriend Jeff doesn't mind, & he & I get along quite well. Seriously, gents: if you haven't tried going poly, maybe you should. Indeed, tomorrow I have a lunch date with a waitress from work that very might have the possibility for more. Who knows. Might not even be the last waitress, either. Who knows.
So far, the year has been better. The start of 2005 brought about significant changes in many things & I used the 6-week interregnum between then & the start of 4703 in February to set up some very good concepts. Had me a nice Chinese New Year party a month ago & since then things have been pretty much 5-by-5.
Thanks for the concern & the knowledge that I haven't faded yet. It'll only be another year or so until I can post again thanks to the requests of The Great Face-Furred One. Until then, I can be reached via PMs or through other methods that are know to a few others.
He's been gone so long, he forgot theres no "underline" feature here.

For some strange reason, he thinks I'm in need of help just because I like Richard Marx and am a die-hard Celine Dion fan. Bah, say I!

I'm glad for the update as I haven't heard anything from Shik in a while. (my fault not his - I'm awful at keeping in touch!)It looks as though he is doing SO much better than last year!

This is what the term "intervention" was coined to describe.

Lee, I'm still in my probation period at work until the end of March, then I will be back on MSN a bit more. I didn't want to give them a reason to sack me.
How's the rug rat?
