We bought a dog for my little brother once from a shelter. It bonded to him...and attacked anyone else who came close. Found out later it had been adopted and returned almost 10 times.

So, after the bonding did you return your brother with the dog? Were you sad to lose your brother like that? Did he later get taken in by a good home?

Oh we took the dog back. Got another one. Sweet lab. Gave her away to a farm. Got a ratty little lap dog, damn Pppp. Not pekignese. Pomeranian. That's it. Little dropkick dog.
