Nope, that's classic Flying Tigers. Nice to see someone has a sense of history and artistic merit over at Boeing.

Even though I work for Boeing, I can't say for sure, but I'd bet that was the Air Force's doing.

I dunno, militaries generally discourage personalizing a vehicle. There were some exceptions. (The Red Baron for example) I figure a person working for a private company has a lot more freedom to express himself artistically.

The military may discourage personalization, but Boeing certainly wouldn't do it without their permission. It is their rocket, after all - Boeing just builds it. I suppose it's just a question of who's idea it was originally.
