Then you need to come along to the event of a lifetime. Yes, it's the first annual

Lee suggested Page's Bar. It's a trek bar apparently. Any British forumperson who is over 18 and isn't dead is welcome to come along. I think Satrday would be best, for those of us who havebusy weekday jobs. Students of course don't care, and get large loans anyway. Ha Ha.
Any takers? Lee, Monty and I shall be there.
Oh, it'll be in London. In England. Now, that's not in the US, which may confuse some of you. I am aware that everything in the world happens in, or is related to, America, so to compensate we shall drink some really weak beer, and then spit it back out. Thank you.

You know, some of us in the US might be able to do something like that...
How many of you forumers and forumettes live in the vicinity of Buffalo/Niagara Falls/Toronto area?

Well, theoretically, two people in the same state could be no closer than Jeff and someone in Toronto...

Actually, Sol And LOA live rather close to each other. And, IIRC, somebody mentioned that they live relatively close to CC.

I live about 45 minutes south of Pittsburgh, PA.
That's about 5 or 6 hours from Niagra Falls.
However... all fun that this might provide aside, I make it a point never to drive 5 hours for ANYTHING, unless there is a nubile, willing young lady at the other end. (And the last time I even did THAT, she got back together with an old boyfriend WHILE I was making the trip! ARRGH!)
Have it in Pittsburgh though, and that's another thing altogether.

I don't check the forums for several days and the night out is announced at that same time. Coincidence? (just kidding)
I would have liked to go, but it seems that I've missed it. I was going to come to the library on Wednesday to check the forums, but there was a football game going on, and I decided to play football instead. Today is the first opportunity since then that I've had to check the net. Damn it!!!
That said, I don't think I could afford to go down to London at the moment anyway because I'm ridiculously short of money, but maybe next time eh.. *sighs*
