I live in New Mexico, and (I think) there are 2 forumers within Driving distance (in opposite directions, of course). One is (or was) in Lubbock, TX (distance a bit more than 100 miles), the other in Albuquerque, NM (a bit more than 200 miles).
Ah, well, it's much more convenient the way things are. Just think of all the gas I'm saving by not visiting each and every one of you individually! (Not to mention the disillusionment you might feel when confronted with my obviously corporeal, non-god-like self!)

The forumite that you speak of that lives in Lubbock is Warped1701. As far as I know, he's still there. And I must pay him a visit sometime, as Lubbock is the hometown of the delightful Jennifer Love Hewitt

Yes. Quite right. This is a British thread. Bugger off, you Yanks and Canucks. After all, you'll only concede that the best place to meet is somewhere in the centre of North America, like Wyoming, which doesn't exist anyway.

This is awl vewwy confusing. Right now I'm juggling a trip back up north one weekend (TBC), a trip south by my Scottish cronies with their homages (TBC) and the big Trek bash organisng here before your very eyes.

Oh, I haven't missed it. I thought you were going to meet up this Saturday gone.
That's fine, I'm up for it - it just depends on when it is and whether my finances can cope. If I get my student grant before the get together, then I'm there, otherwise I'll have to see if I can afford it.

Sorry Frank, Wyoming does exist, I know someone who moved there and visited the state several times, and they insisted that it existed, even when I said it didn't. However they they may be lying .
