Canadians to Bush: Hope You Lose, Eh

Only 15 per cent, according to an exclusive new Maclean's poll, would definitely cast a ballot for Bush if they had the opportunity....Just 12 per cent of us feel Canada is better off since he took office, and only a third of respondents will admit to liking the world's most powerful man, even just a little bit.

Good stuff. Go Canada.

Who really cares what voting polls from other countries say about our elections though?

What does that mean? Do they poll British elections too?

Wow. Thats actually a bit of a surprise.
While I was certainly aware Canadians didn't like Bush, I had no idea it was at that level.
It should certainly give Martin something to ponder.

Canadians have elections? I thought they just rotated it among the 30 residents.

No, but that's because the Canadian Prime Minister doesn't play Risk with real life countries.

Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

And Canada's worried they're on the board?
Silly.

Does Canada have no news of their own to focus on?

Surprisingly, most other countries can cope with more than one news story at a time.

"I know the US mags dont worry so about canadian elections."

Yeah, but half the people here don't even know where Canada is, so what can you expect?

As Mr. Bush once said, Canada, one of our greatest northern neighbors.

Or some such.

I've lived too close to Canada for too many years, and was never concerned on their PM, or a liberated Quebec for that matter......

You know, it feeds the typical US arrogance when they see something from another nation like this, it means that they care about our polical woes.... As it seems to me anyway.

Well we were going to find a country that had its military and infrastucture mostly destroyed 14 years ago, that had santions placed on it where they were unable to rebuild this military or rebuild their infrastructure in those 14 years, then lie about their military capabilities to the world to justify a pre-emptive strike against them and then invade them, but that was so like 2003.

I can accept that, since that is all I am watching with now.... In IL you have to claim a party to vote in primary, which sucks big time for me...
