I worry that many people, like Carlson and Begala, will be under the mistaken impression that Stewart wasn't being completely serious.

I have removed the Torrent link. Please do not link to torrents (or other popular file sharing applications) that contain content not intended for distirbution in such ways.

I'd just like to say, for whoever keeps an archive of TEH INTARWEB, that I disagree with that decision. But I'm not going to argue with the Capps.
No wonder I come here like, never.

That wasn't a news broadcast, it was a talk show. A talk show owned completely by a large company with a known tendency to knock people offline for sharing other properties it owns.

Erhm... so, if I'm reading this right, a link to ANY application that can be used to share files is verboten, unless that application isn't popular enough for anyone to bother sharing illegal content through it or the content being shared is explicitly intended/permitted to be distributed on a P2P network?
If that's really your position, please say so.

No, it's the linking to things that lead directly to said content, such as Torrents or protocol links, as well as instructions on how to obtain the content.
Linking to the applications and talking about the applications is OK, but there Flare shall not be used for file trading.
