Something else i forgot to mention. My local newspaper. issued an article about the next G8 summit being held in some remote part of Alberta (i live in saskatchewan) they said that "punks and thugs" were not welcome. and they chose the remote area to help keep violent protestors from getting there easily. i think i might go to the next G8 to see what goes on.

Da_bang... a few things.

"Punks and thugs" would be a quote from his thickheadedness Ralph Klein, Premier of Alberta. Folksy right-wing prarie populist. Shit for brains but well-liked by his Albertan minions. Not known for tact.

Secondly, how exactly do you propose going to Kananaskis if the protesters won't be able to get there? Come into the posession of a transporter?

And lucky me, I'm living in what will inevitably become a staging area for the protestors as they cross the US border and regroup with buddies before they head on up to Canmore (which is basically as close as they'll be allowed to get, unless they try to hike in from Crowsnest or Elkford) to jump and scream and yell. I guess I'll set up a hemp clothing stand in town and make a few bucks or something

I'd give him a little slack, Tom. He is obviously referring to the anarchists who have no purpose in any demonstration other than to crash, smash, and bash. I don't think he really has anything against legit protests and demonstrations.

Remember, out of every 100,000 legitimate protestors, there are 5,000 who steal their show with their violence.

As for getting the leaders up there, how about using those Sea Kings?

And it's those 5000 that you bring the HCl for.

Hey, it's all-natural!
