It is not. However, that is just the game. The reason you can't ask if it is a starship, species or anomaly is because it can also be a thing... Thus the answer to that question could potentially be "none of the above"
At least, that's how I understand it.

But had the answer been the lionfish, the answer to the first question would have been "yes".
I thought the game was that it had to be a starship, a species (poss member thereof) or anomaly, but you specifically couldn't ask whether it was one of those things. If only to eliminate people choosing, say, the replicator in Chakotay's quarters or some bulkhead strut off which Riley hung, unsw.
