I Would have had two battles

1)With Deep Space Nine being attacked by 60 Jem'Hardar battle criusers and DS9 firing weapons and alliance Ships fighting them off. The battle lasts a day.

2)The now vitorious alliance fleet leaves DS9 and follows the retreating fleet to Cardassia @maximum warp. They get there 9 hours later. There are 900 dominion ships orbiting cardassia. The fleet drop out of warp and wait for reinforcement from Starbase 375. The fleet arrives and both fleets engage the Dominion

The destruction of the Odyssey was very touching, I would've addded some more of those elements, although the loss of sisko and the bulk of the cardassian people was pretty massive.
I mean, in most regards he IS dead, stepping out of linear time...

I agree, making the show is the responsibility of the people who make the show. It should be left the way it is. Perfect. Usually.

Sky cut the episode(s) when they showed it. The farewell between Garak and Bashir was the one notable omission - that I know of.

Was very dissappointed with that ep. I was thinking that the plot elements of the War, Gul Dukat, and the Prophets and Pagh Wraiths would combine to create one hell of an ending. But the writers chose to separate the War from the conflict with the Pagh Wraiths.
