I don't understand all the fuss about spoilers anyway. Come on, don't we all like to be spoiled a little? Isn't that one of the reasons we are here for?
And even if one doesn't want to be spoiled - just put $$$-Warnings in the title of the thread, and anybody "brave" enought to click on the link should have no reason for complaining afterwards.
Nuff said.

Well, I'm joking of course!! I'm going to click on a link that has my name in the title AREN'T I!?! ;o)
It's not a big spoiler - and might not even be true. It's just that the 'spoiler' in the other thread was sort of - to me - like 'hey it's pretty certain that this is the case' - and so my mind races and goes over everything I know.
As I mentioned in the other thread too, that it was spoilers for Ships in the movie, not spoilers for plot points. I mean I don't mind spoiling myself up to a point.
And I believe people that Jason A was JOKING (hopefully everyone got that).
I also said that people knew that Spock died in tWoK before it came out - still makes it a kick arse movie and was only a little point in a movie brimming with fantastic things to see. Plus you can watch tWoK and Spock's death again and again and not help get emotional!! The movie is just as Jerry Seinfeld said "The best of those movies".
SO, again that leads me to Insurrection - here's hoping that Nem isn't like that movie where the MAJOR plot point was the Bak'u/Son'a thing... once that's know it sorta ruins the rest of the movie. It all hinged on that one point.

I think we can say it's pretty certain he dies, since it was a major point in the script that was online, which is turning out to be generally correctly.

Plus, Spiner has been saying for years that he wanted to quit playing Data. Perhaps they finally listened to him. (Which would rule out that he would return in the form of B4/B9 in the future.)

Yes guys, I was joking. (about Insurrection) ...and as far as Insurrection goes: for an odd numbered Trek film I really liked it. Waaaay better than STV! ...of course so is root canal.... Insurrection would have made for a really good two part episode, but there just was'nt enough drama for the big screen.

so you are saying that if you saw a door that said 'AndrewR don't open or you will die' you would open it?

Well, once Spiner realises no-one else is going to pay him the odd million to appear in a movie, he'll come crawling back. Perhaps they'll find some way to have B-9 age somehow so it doesn't look as if the android body has changed whenb it shouldn't have, which was always one of Spiner's problems over playing the role 15+ years later. . .

There's a simpler reason for the android looking older: simple wear and tear...
