This probably has been mentioned before, but I could not find it using the Flare search...

I was watching Futurama today in the episode I think is titled "Time Keeps on Slipping", in which the cast de-ages. Anyway, in the first sequence the Professor drives the rocketship and turns on the "high beams" vaporizing first a billboard, and then a station that looks just like DS9! hee hee

Yes, very funny moment... and the Professor comes out into the traffic lane and holds all the traffic up and keeps his blinker on.

I saw tat last night as well: I laughed my ass off!

He destroyed the station by driving with his "highbeams" on.

There was a good Tholian Web joke in that episode as well.

The episode you mentioned is the one where Earth is invaded by the Harlem Globetrotters, and how as a result time starts jumping forward randomly...

God, I love this show. [Smile]

Um, the Deep Space station getting blown up is from the Harlem Globetrotter's episode? I just watched that a few days ago (DVD baby), and I didn't recall it ...

No its from the episode where the crew gets younger because of that old-age spa. [Smile] Zoidberg is hilarious in this episode.

There are way too many Star Trek jokes in Futurama... god bless them!!!

I'm waiting for Shatner to return and play the admiral to Leela's red-shirt captain stalker.

The best is the episode where Fry and Zoidberg fight in an arena over some Lobster-woman and the Lobster leader decrees that the national anthem be played.
The lobster-people's national anthem is the fight music from TOS.

Did Zoidberg's race ever get a proper name?

No, it seems only his home planet was named, Decapod 10.
Decapodians isn't all that illogical, though they only have two legs, not ten.

I love the name they gave to the home planet of the aliens they keep coming up against, Omicron Persei 8. Took me the longest time to realize that it shortens to something else!

It was a damn, damn, damn dirty shame the day those idiots at Fox cancelled Futurama (and Family Guy) especially after 4 (and 3) seasons.

A damn shame, I tell ya! [Frown]
