In continuation with my last topic.
My favorite character was General Martok. He was one damn cool klingon.

hmmm...probably Sisko: when he gets pissed it's great. Better when he has to give one of his officers a dressing down.
I knew I'd love his character when he obviously wanted to deck Picard in the first DS9.
Eddingtion rocked too- when he phasered Kira, it left my jaw hanging. A great suprise, and Trek has far too few suprises.

"Cadet, you are obviously under the mistaken impression that I am asking you for a favor. I want a name and I want it now! Is that understood Mister Nog?"
Great line. Yah, Sisko was a badass.

Well, Sisko DID deck Q .... and you have to love the dialoge in that scene.
Q: "You HIT me?! Picard never hit me" BS: "I'm NOT PICARD!"

He got to say the wittiest line in the history of Trek, when they were going to infiltrate the Cardassian compound and was stopped by the bombproof door. Seldom do the Trek-writers have good wit.

Damar was one of the most realistic characters to me. When we first meet the guy he's a complete ass. Pompous an arrogant, your typical Cardassian. Then he kills Ziyal. And then, after all that, he does a complete turn around and becomes the leader of Cardassian resistance. He basically started out doing whatever would make Dukat happy. And then whatever would make Weyoun happy. Then he said "fuck this, I'm doing my own thing."

Scotty has always been my favorite: an engineering genius with a good sense of humor and a reasonable amount of competence in the Captain's chair when Kirk and Spock were away. Plus he took on a bar full of Klingons over the honor of his ship.

Where is Liam to tell us he thinks the thread is OK, so long as no one goes with obscure characters just to seem cool.
My beliefs are my soul's fortress. I cannot stray from The One True Shatner. Kirk hands down. Second would probably have to go to Spock, but Garek is right up there, and 7of9 gets Super Ultra points for being the vessel of my destruction.
