If she hasn't been seen or mentioned in season 3, they'll probably just leave the character out completely and claim she stayed on Earth, or something.

I'd actaully like to have it be that Phlox is walking down a cooridor and we hear her voice [dubbed from a previous ep?] and then an explosion--- would bring a conclusion to the storyline that was between them and open up more char dev for Phlox.
That or something more than just she was killed in the last attack, seems a cop out.

"Creepy" would be to use her corpse to have a on-screen farewell with Phlox. Complete with french kiss goodbye.
