You don't want to go down that route Spike, you really don't. Not now and certainly not after what has been said.

I could have continued to use foul language as the ***'d word at the top of my post, but it's not necessary and I wouldn't lower myself. I was just making a point - to hell with the words used: focus on the content and meaning of the message.

FYI - my first name isn't Sheridan, it's Alexander. [Razz]

What? Sorry, but I'm really having trouble trying to figure out what *** could possibly mean. Never mind that we're getting in to the whole issue of self-censoring of swear words, which is as retarded as saying "heck" or "gosh". If you're going to swear, swear, but, honestly, what is the point of coving up some of the letters with asterixes? Does it stop us from burning in the fiery pits of hell?

And, to go back to the original argument, I think you'll find that Tim was actually agreeing with you that the thread has been at least a little creepy, and at most, fairly sick. Sarcasm. Wonderful tool. Jason was just trying to make a fairly average "shock joke", and it would have been better to ignore it's obviousness than to bring attention to it.

Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

Wow. Thank the Gods we have you (AKB1979) here as our moral compass, Ms. Poppins!

Just change your screen name to Jimini Cricket and sing us a Disney song why dont you?

If I suddenly croak, I give you all permission to make pornographic jokes at my corpse's expense...
except you, Jimmini.
You can berate anyone that jokes with your "moral superiority".

It's just a joke, so lighten up.

I cant imagine there is no distinct cause of death: the ME just doesnt scratch his head and sign a death certificate without one.
"An undetermined medical condition" could mean anything at all.
I hope it was'nt drugs or something along those lines: it's got to be tough enough on her family without that.

On an unrelated side note: I wonder what the percentage of lines is between CUtler and mayweather? I bet Cutler has had about 30% as many lines as Mayweather. [Wink]

Well, I acknowledged it silenty, if that helps.

And akb****, while you're riding that high horse of yours, could you maybe spare a thought or two for the thousands of people who die of, say, AIDS each day but DON'T make the nine 'o clock news anymore? Really, there are graver injustices in this world to direct your energy towards.

"Sarcasm is the last resort of the weak-minded"

Nah. Myself I think of it as a magnifying glass which enables the user to show the listener the forest despite the trees.

I'm sure no disrespect was intended - and many of us also utilize sarcasm as a defense mechanism.

The boys will be SO disappointed.

It's all good! Winter has finally hit South Florida and I'm in far too good a mood to be insulted (although I doubt it was the intent).
Man! It's down into the upper 50's tonight!

"An undetermined medical condition"

I've seen something like that used before. The guy killed himself with his perscriptions. The coronor couldn't say he overdosed on purpose, so his death was listed as undetermined.

There, PsyLiam, happy now that I didn't use any censors this time? [Big Grin]

You have very bad taste on this occasion and I found it offensive. [Frown] Others express their opinion so why can't I? [Confused] You have.

Do you think that I don't know that? I do, but thanks for reminding me.

And who said anything about riding a high horse? I'm not on a high horse at all (I don't even ride horses). I was just making a point that I took offense at what had been said and pointed out that others might too. If I appear to be on a high horse, that's you interpretation, not mine.

And where are our moderators? Why aren't they dealing with this as they should be?

OK . . . I've run out of steam now so I have only this to say . . . we've all got different views on this and what has been said. I've said my piece and you've said yours, let's call it even and quit for we don't want to draw this out any longer than it has. Do we? I am sorry if I appeared to be on a high horse (it was not my intention) and if I have offended anyone here - I just feel very strongly about this topic and feel that some of the things said were inappropriate under the circumstances. We've banged heads on this occasion and hopefully we've all learnt something from it. If not . . . I guess it will be our destiny to bang heads on some other topic. [Big Grin] Until then! [Big Grin]
