Actually the TOS command uniforms were a little greenish, in all the episodes but the pilots

You think? I thought they looked more gold than green. Especially compared to Kirk's alternative-this is to show i'm not the evil one in "The Enemy Within"/This is to show I'm not fat-uniform, which was VERY green.

Actually, I think it was stated pretty explicitly in "Projections" that the Doctor's memories began with his first activation during Caretaker. I guess the stuff in "Pathfinder" was prenatal and that his memory was wiped before he was copied to various starship's software library.
