Plus, I doubt that in Sisko and Torres' original character write-ups, they even had middle initials. They were most likely added a few years down the road.

There is a reason that Eugene and Wesley have been reused. But the only man who knows why is Gene Wesley Roddenberry, so I doubt we'll ever know now.

And the 'T' one is bullshit too. Riker got a 'T' initial in homage to Kirk.
