Oh...build your own crew...I like this. Do I really have to use the canon Trek crews for the ship? Oh wel...

Starship: USS Prometheus NX-74913 (No Question)

CO: Vice-Admiral Michael T. Colorge (Me)

XO: Captain William T. Riker (Better than Chakotay)

CTO: Commander Worf (He would hate being ambassador)

CSO: Dr. Annika Hansen (I have Data at Ops)

CMO: EMH Mark-2 (The EMH Mark-1 doesn't have hair)

OPS: Commander Data (I don't want Kim onboard)

Helm: Lt. Nog (I may need a discount on Romulan ale)

CEO: Lt. Cmdr. Geordie LaForge (He's the best)

Counselor/Morale Officer: Neelix (He's replaceable)

Tec: The Prometheus is a deep space tactical vessel. That's why I like her. I'M ALL ABOUT THE GUNS, BABY!!

MickeyT: Neelix as counselor, huh?
"Help me, Neelix, I don't know what to do on this ship, I feel useless."
-"Well maybe you can help me in the kitchen?"
-"I have a degree in warpfield technology!"
-"Well, er, so do I! But face it, you're not going to get a promotion that way, the only one on this ship who has is Paris, although we're technically at war once a month. Look at me, I used to hang out with the ThunderCats, but they all died and I got into the junk-business, now THAT'S A CAREER-CHANGE!!!"
-"Get down from the table."
-"Sorry."

DARKSTAR: 7o9 as counselor? Whygodwhy?

Empathy is irrelevant, psychology is irrelevant, sympathy is irrelevant. That's borg philosophy for you, Trnipito. But I understand you were joking, it's allright.

I'd just be a Q, making a crew (and a ship) unnecessary.

USS Meridian - Prometheus-Class (I was gonna go with Nebula, but then I remembered how much I liked the Prommie)

Commanding Officer - Capt. Cole Bozman

that's me, duh.

First Officer - Cmdr. Spock

The obvious foil for any emotional human such as myself. Spock is the quintessential first officer -- he knows when (and how) to speak to his CO when he's acting badly (no pun intended).

Flight Controller - Ens. Rager (from "Relics")

Well, as good a pilot as Tom Paris is, I find his shallow appreciation of "20th century culture" distasteful. Also, if he wasn't on Voyager, he'd be in jail. Plus Rager's one of the few conn officers actually willing to move the ship on more than one axis!

Chief of Operations - Lt. Cmdr. Data

Data's the obvious choice here, due to his android nature. Plus we'd get plenty of "exploring humanity" shows out of it.

Tactical/Security - Lt. Cmdr. Tuvok

I'd want someone cool and in control at the weapons station. Can't get much more in control than "Mr. Vulcan".

Chief Science Officer/Second Officer - Lt. Cmdr. Jadzia Dax

Spock would be the obvious choice for science, but I like Dax more. C'mon, it's _Dax_! Plus I think she has a good amount of command experience, thanks to the Defiant, so she's my choice for second officer as well.

Chief Engineer - Chief Miles O'Brien

Miles is the perfect choice for chief engineer, because he doesn't overestimate his repair times, he isn't a total failure with women, and he doesn't punch people in the nose when he doesn't get his way.

Chief Medical Officer - Dr. Leonard McCoy

He wrote the book on alien physiology. Plus you gotta have him and Spock together.

also:

Assistant Chief Engineer - Lt. Joseph Carey (back from oblivion!)
Transporter Chief/Bridge Officer - Mr. Kyle
Nurse - Ens. Alyssa Ogawa

Hey, Neellix is expendible. Just in case any negotiation went south, they can shoot him rather than me...

Well, Annika can be, um, eerie at times. You were correct.

But, she's VERY VERY SEXY. But, I suppose that's a moot point, seing as how one is engaged to Kira and seduces Torres. No lack of rumpy-pumpy there.
