Don't know, but it doesn't really look like it.

AND, I just realized that the Edoans aren't even supposed to be UFP members! Only in a loose alliance. Or so it is claimed by this semi-canonical biography of Lt. Arex published by Licoln Enterprises, which was the origin of the name and background. http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Stargate/3751/ArexBio.html
