I'm thinking the "C" and the "1" are typos. At least the "C". It'd just be NX-65, though one wonders why they would go up that high...

Federation Models, Wes. There's 2 sizes outthere, the 1/1400 by Starcrafts which is fucking spectacular & the 1/2500 by Spaceboy. I think FM only carries the Starcrafts one, though. You can check Starship Modeler for the other.

Mayweather said that "three more NX-class ships are on the drawing boards". I wouldn't expect any of them to get a captain so early.

Yah...I didn't think the Shenandoah was an NX... I assumed it was an older class of ship. Man, some of those models by Warp Models are killer!!

Anybody know where "Aniara" comes from? I know it's a sci-fi poem by Harry Martinson, but did he have a source for the name? Old Greek plays, or something?

Agreed that whatever the Shenandoah is, it's NOT a NX-class starship.

Based on on-line research,

1953 Poetry by the sci-fi writer Harry Martinson.

1958 A opera of that name, based on the previously mentioned play, is conducted in England.

1978 A ship of that name, the M/S Aniara , is launched. She is a car carrier.
