A link with any further official update as to the cause of her sad demise maybe?

It's a closed topic for Waymire. A website for condolences and no stated cause of death.
Personally, I hope Enterprise gives her a text memorial at an episode's start and leaves it at that.
I wonder if anything is being done in memorial for Mr. Kamen?
I've heard nothing after the initial announcment.
You'd think the Academy would honor him with a star or an oscar or some damn thing.
The man scored a lot of blockbuster movies.

I have a topical idea. It's become obvious the Waymire clan isn't interested in divulging the true medical cause of death. And I think that's entirely their right. If they don't want us to know then perhaps it's their place to prevent us from knowing.

Which is to say I'm still terribly curious why a 35 year-old beauty, still in her prime would suddenly die, but I think I'm willing to forego that curiosity. But I'll admit that there's a certain logic to the idea that once someone becomes a celebrity, to some extent they forfeit their privacy. Maybe not in this case (she isn't really front page of People), but there are plenty of others. Thoughts?

Priivacy is fine but if CNN or NPR is running a story on the person's death, we expect to be told why.
"Why" is usually the first thing we think of when we hear of someone dying in their prime and unfortunatly we often think the worst (I immeadeately thought "drugs" but who really knows).
It's odd the we can accept "heart attack" so easily but undisclosed circumstances piques our attention.

Crewman Cutler is in the Expanse... I was watching Rajiin tonight and Phlox mentioned she broke her arm due to an anomaly.

I hope they keep her alive. Occassionally mentioning her.

Hey, the theatre she performed at is just down the street from me (it's on 24th St, I'm on 31st)! I've seen a school play there. It looks like a dingy little place from the outside and I thought they just did university stuff there.

I'll say....

Actually the music world was hit the hardest...

Mickey Finn, Maurice Gibb, Hank Ballard, Edwin Starr, Nina Simone, Noel Redding, Mickie Most, Warren Zevon, Johnny Cash, Robert Palmer, Bobby Hatfield, Arthur Conley...

All legends of their day...and they're nearly all baby boomers!

2003 continues to reap its grim (and distinguished) harvest with the death from heart attack of the British actor David Hemmings. Once the 'enfant terrible' of British film was described by Russell Crowe as one of the "four horsemen of the appocalypse". Like two of those four (Oliver Reed and Richard Harris - Derek Jacobi is still, thankfully, with us) not only did he drink Mr Crowe under the table, he has now sadly passed away.

His sci-fi genre contributions include Barbarella (as Duran Duran), Thirst, Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde (1981), Airwolf, Equilibrium and, most recently, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Does include the latest update on her death (as of 12-5)...which remains unchanged, so it is safe to say, that yes, it most likely no going to be released...so with that said...
