Anything over 200 meters is definitely too large, I can't imagine the fresh young Starfleet having that kind of industrial production capacity. So, I'm gonna go with a nice rounded figure, say 175,3141592654 meters.

Nit: Starfleet won't even be around until 2161-- and new ships [specifically built for Starfleet] shouldn't start rolling off the lines until really close to 2170.
However my bid would place a reasonable size around 100 meters... however knowing TPTB we'll probably get one that's 10, 100, 1000, and 10000 all at the same time.

I've rounded the guesses of you fraction-touting jokers. NightWing's guess of 250m has been disallowed, as Vogon Poet beat him to it, but I'll welcome a re-wager.
Wagers accepted so far 0.012m - Mucus 024m - Matrix 100m - J 110m - targetemployee 113m - TSN 147m - Shik 152m - Davok 157m - Dr. Jonas Bashir 171m - <> aka Frank 175m - The_Evil_Lord 186m - The Red Admiral 190m - Mr. Christopher 200m - Ace 210m - Nimrod 220m - Bernd 235m - The_Tom 250m - Vogon Poet 280m - Mark Nguyen

Has it occured to anyone that this might be something totally different from what we're familiar with? What if these seven officers are the only crew aboard? Why not? Then we'd be dealing with some sort of glorified runabout, no bigger than an Akira.

As I recall, the Big-E is 289m, so my Pre-E guess is a hair shorter at 280. In any case, I'm sure it will be longer than ths largest estimates at the Defiant's size, i.e. > 170m.
I'm also wagering that Eaves carries through his sleekness paradigm that he used on the E-E to Series V. Thus, the Pre-E will be just a bit shorter, but overall smaller in size and volume, just as the E-E was to the E-D (granted, the E-E was longer, but you get what I mean).

Omega: Well, even by Frank's rather minature estimate of an Akira's length, Akiras are hardly glorified runabouts.
And while the idea of a really small ship is certainly a possibility, the fact that they're filling three soundstages with sets seems to be a strike against that. Besides, what would Star Trek be without redshirts?
Nonetheless, should Mr. Omega choose to submit a small figure for length, it will most certainly be welcomed.

I'm not a "fraction-touting joker". I chose 112.776m because it's 370 feet. The Trek VFX people seem to prefer lengths in feet, so I figured it would probably be a round number of feet, and thus a fractional number of meters.
