Now it's back to the ol' Star Trek Ships: Expanded site. [Frown]

Sorry, Bernd. We all loved your site. It must be a conspiracy at the hands of Paramount... [Mad]

Yes Bernd... DON'T GIVE UP! You are an on-line inspiration.

Strato was actually the only provider I knew that had unlimited traffic without clauses. And
now they are sending me a letter with the untimely termination of the contract listing a
couple of possible TOS violations including porn or fascist propaganda of which none applies.

TOS violations - now I KNOW that's not The Original Series ;o) is there anywhere we can protest their treatment of you!?!

Thanks for all the support so far! There were actually a few serious offers, and EAS may come back better than ever.

The international EAS domains will be back in a few days.

Until the DNS transfer is through, you may want to go here:

I just noticed that Bernd has been at this board pretty much since it's beginning, he's got #6... wow, no wonder we love EAS so much.

Bernd's only got member number 6 because his name starts w/ a 'B'. The first seventy-some people who registered when Solarflare opened were rearranged into alphabetical order before being assigned member numbers.

And [Solar]Flare only dates back to '99. Most of those seventy-some people came over from SFCR, the board that this one more-or-less replaced. And SFCR replaced the old UP and TC boards. The "beginning" was actually in mid-'97. Only a few people here date back that far.

Find out something about a person one day, and then learn the next it's a total sham.... How disappointing
