With the season five dvds available, can we get screencaps of the ventral side of the U.S.S. Bozeman NCC-1941 and the shuttles Berman and Piller in the main shuttlebay? Thank you.

Stone me! That was quick. You work damn fast.
Thanks a lot for these. As for the Soyuz model, it doesn't need updating, it needs ripping apart and completely rebuilding. These pics will at least allow me to remodel it with more accuracy...

Ooooh, lots of lovely closeup detail! I may be wrong, but it looks like they ripped/molded/whatever that bridge module off of the half finished Phase II Enterprise, the one that looks like it's half way between being the original and the movie version. That could point to the Soyuz being a pre-TMP era ship or just that it happens to have a none standard bridge module.

Personally, I've never seen a cap that definitively shows the underside as being labeled NCC-1841. I'm almost ready to write that off as a myth, especially now with these new pics. What people are seeing as an 8 is probably really a 9.
SM, can you do some "Redemption" caps? Y'know, of all the ships in a group? Like a clearer version of this shot, with all four ships visible.
I might have a few others that I'd appreciate you doing, too. I'll try to generate a small list...
Thanks, -MMoM

I'm planning on doing that shot for my own personal use, so yes, I'll make it avaliable when I get it. I also wanna do shots of the Phoenix from "The Wounded" and the Sutherland from "Redemption," and see if I can do something with the Vico MSD from "Hero Worship."
On a related note, I have heard from several other sources that the Bozeman was actually labeled NCC-1841 in most places, but Jein changed the upper dish markings as a homage to his movie work. Seems odd that it wasn't mentioned in the Encyclopedia though (but then again, a lot of revisionist history made its way into the Encyclopedia).

Well, NCC-1941 was on the nacelles as well, so I don't know where else 1841 could have been besides on the underside. Who/what are these sources you speak of, besides fellow board posters?

Hmm... the one that I most recall was *way* back when. It was either Starlog or one of the TNG official magazines from ten (yikes! has it been that long?) years ago.
There is (or was) also something on the internet about it... but I can't find it through Google.

As a sci-fi modeler myself, I'm going to attempt a Soyuz Class at some point. Red Admiral, as you already seem to have a model done that need refurbishing, I'd like to offer my observations about some of the details.
They started with the Miranda Class (5ft?) miniature. They used two castings from the 3ft Nebula Class refit model for the 'necks' that hold the upper and lower sensor pods in place. They were attached reversed to the Nebula orientation. The bridge module is in fact the Phase II Enterprise one; (see Phase II: The Lost Series book in the color photos section). The lower sensor array on the saucer's underside is one of the pieces used on the bottom of the large Constellation Class model.
Hope this helps and isn't all redundant information!
