Taking into account what we've discussed here, I have put up a new page about the New Orleans.

Look here:

Wow COOL!
You should pass on the URL to Rick Sternbach - Lets him know - we WANT to SEE and KNOW about ships like the New Orleans and the Cheyenne...

I think a little library of such pages on the net - would be great!

Good job Bernd. Now that's a good solid collection of info on a little known ship. We all do great when we pull together like this (i.e. Cheyenne and NO)

Astounding. We need more pages like this. (Which reminds me, I ought to get the Stuff We Don't Agree On one organized....SWDAG for short. )

Shouldn't that be SWDAGO, or are we afraid of being picketed by Mexicans? 8)

Actually, that's was a typo. It should be SWDAO. I'd edit the message, but then everyone reading this thread would be confused.

Next ship, please!

Frank: I think I leave the SWDAO page to you. But be warned, there are those long evenings when I'm alone with my computer...

Why not call it STUWEDAGO?

Very nice, Bernd, this is the kind of analysis I like to see. Any chance of you doing one for the Excelsior and/or Ambassador variations?

Excelsior: There is not much left to analyze, the differences between the original (NX-2000) and the modified Excelsior (NCC-2000) have already been extensively discussed.

Ambassador: That's a nice idea for the next ship analysis. There are a lot of small differences, but I don't know of a comprehensive list. Since I've recently built the model, I have a lot of refernce material...

Ooh... I got my name mentioned... *jumps up and down clapping* :-)

And, to be grammatically corect, Frank's page should be SOWWDA (Stuff On Which We Don't Agree). More pronounceable, too, for that matter... :-)

Hm, "final solution" sounds a bit dubious, especially from a German :]
