The Studio model of the Valkyrie (or a copy) was displayed at the Star Trek World Tour in Duesseldorf, Germany. The registry number was NCC-2590.

Note that the lettering looks as if the bottom was supposed to be the top side, as The_Tom said. This is probably the reason why it was actually displayed upside down in a previous exhibition.

The Enterprise-nil, -A, and -B were the only starships in the sector. TNG suffered from a permanent lack of ships too, and the the E-D had to do any kind of duty, from medicine courier service to towing. I can't remember a single dialogue like this: "Captain, medicine has to be delivered to Gerratana IV and the Nixian ambassador wants to be ferried to Trinculo VIII." - "Don't worry, there are the USS Dunnowhat and USS Seekaname in this sector, and we can continue with our mission."

Well, the Federation is supposedly really large...even with thousands of ships, there wouldn't be enough to have several within hours of each other.
