Now that the japanese have taken the Fact Files mantle (with the European and American versions into history), what would we like to see them do? Or should I just start a new thread? Answers? Comments? [Big Grin] [Wink]

I've come a long way for the power of Genesis, and what do I find? A Square Pegs reject, another actress playing Saavik, and Leonard Nimoy's stand-in.

Accurate ventral view size-comparison charts.

Bernd's got the best charts around and ASDB's is good too, but nobodys got a complete chart of the ships in a ventral view (and in color).
Gislo's is pretty amazing once you scale down the sabre to 179 meters.

More Rick Sternbach (sp?) tech articles.

...and a lifesized poster of Spot the cat to hang up next to my beloved Porthos poster, of course. [Big Grin]

Did it have one of those mottos which cutesy posters with furry animals have, like "Hard work fascinates me - I can sit and stare at it for hours" or something like that?

The problem with the ventral chart is that we have few suited ventral views of ships. Ironically, many obscure Delta Quadrant ships have quite good five-view-charts (CGI) in the Fact Files, whereas the depictions even of prominent Federation ships are crude. I have focused on doing side views, simply because they are easier to draw or to correct.

Who says the Fact Files are finished in Europe? In GB perhaps, but what about the "Old Europe"? Here in Germany we're up to Nr. 286 and counting, with no sign of the series finishing soon.

But the GB FF were a couple of issues ahead. They stopped at 304.
