Some local morning show got their guy a guest spot on the show. They took pics, and we get glimpses of the refitted bridge set. Noticable is the new, bluer paint job on the railings and doors, and the "new" captain's chair, which is really just the unused seatbelt chair from Nemesis! One wonders if it'll still have the seatbelts, and if the other chairs on the bridge are similarly set up with restraints. I for one wouldn't mind this change!

The E-E chair is easily acceptable, as it wasn't seen in the thatrical release of Nemesis - and IMO looked really out of place anyway. They probably didn't even re-upholster it - just swapped out the arm console touchpads with actual buttons, and off you go.

Doesn't red hurt the eyes after awile? Its not like all the doors on TOS were red anyway and the railing wasn't red in The Cage, people can't argue they should have The Cage's lasers but ignore the colourscheme. For that matter, how come people bitch about lasers, but not the use of Red in the uniform scheme?

Doubtful, as the guy was reportedly guesting on a show after "Home". So unless they weren't shooting in order, my guess is that this is in fact the new bridge set.
For the general E-nil colour palette from "The Cage", try THIS out.

Very boring. And those semicircular arrays of controls remind me of that weird-looking Microsoft keyboard, can't remember what it was called. . .

Microsoft Natural Keyboard, or something like that.
And the Cage bridge looks really, really cramped. Pike looks like he could spend all his time kicking the two guys in front of him (maybe that's why he was replaced).
-------------------- Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

The Fact Files pictures are notoriously inaccurate. Also, while the sets themselves were rarely as large as they looked on film (God bless Hollywood lenses), they aren't really THAT cramped. Here's the FF look at the "regular" E-nil bridge:
