heh heh thanks - I was gonna just post them - but I went and watched millenium instead... and then I thought they were a bit dark - so I was going to lighten them up in PSP or ADOBE but you can see them well enough I guess...

see the bodies are too small for that 'airlock' the air lock its roughly the height of Janeway's Ready room - the deck height... so... they're too small...

OK if we ignore this little problem - was the cargo bay supposed to be on the exact inside of those doors - cause I just had a theory that the cargo bay might be further inside the ship - and that is just an access tunnel to various cargo bays that might fit that cargo sled that we saw in TMP - or maybe that similar looking doohikie - in 11001001.

this might explain the fan doors too - these could just be 'access' ports to a 'tunnel' or 'shaft' that access cargo bays further into the ship!?!

Ignore that if you think that all the cargo bays are 'flush' with the exterior hull of the ship...

You know, everytime we seen those airlocks on Voyager up close, it always looks like the name and registry number are sticking out from the hull. Is it possible they aren't actually 'painted' on there, and are actaully thick pieces of hull added to the already existing hull?

Raised lettering would seem like a good idea. No need to make it flush, since there's no air resistance or anything, and the small shadows cast by the letters look really nice.

I really like that "access tunnel" idea, Andrew. Especially when we hear of a cargo hold up on deck four (seen in "Maneuvers" which just aired hereabouts!). There cannot be a direct access door there, although internal cargo transporters are of course possible. But if the doorway is 4m across (which IMHO makes the Borg 2m long, not 1m), a workbee "cargo train" would be a tight fit. OTOH, I don't think we have seen those "trains" in the TNG era, just individual 'bees. Perhaps modern containers are smaller (like the octagons so often seen in the cargo bays?) and carried in a single file behind the 'bee?
