For the purposes of this schematic the port and starboard tow pads have been left empty.
Any suggestions for a name? It should be along the same lines as Atlas, possibly some other mythical figure who was made to carry a heavy burden or was notably strong...not Hercules, that just sounds silly.

I was under the impression that the G in the TAS registries had something to do with them carrying grain. I gave my robotug a T (for transport or tug) registry.

I doubt registry codes are THAT specific. I just took "NCC-G" as being a special code for autonomous Starfleet vessels.
Just an idea that occured to me ages ago when one of the fighter threads was going but I don't think I ever posted: Something like this design but carrying attack craft on the tow pads- larger than the usual fighter designs and specialised for combat; they wouldn't have to lug around an interstellar fuel supply or be small enough to fit in shuttlebays/hangers.

Then might I suggest a slight change to Vidar-class? After all, it's an unmanned drone tug, & Vidar was the Norse god of strength & silence.
