This one was surprisingly easy.

 -

This one however was a little tricky.

Excellant piece o'artwork as usual Reverend.

Now, any chance of you rigging up a conjectural patch for S.S. Bonaventure?

...and here's a conjectural one from yours truly.

You have no idea just how tempted I was to give this one the motto "....There is no Master of Southern Cross!".

Actually, I kind of like it with the constellation unoutlined.

I totally agree, awesome work Reverend. [Wink] What would be cool to see is the NX Project Logo. Keep up the great work. You always amaze me.

Unless the Earth's orbit has shifted dramatically since my elementary school days, the last star in the Big Dipper isn't the North Star.

Nope, it's not. [Wink]

Take the two right-most stars on that patch image, forming the side of the dipper itself. The North Star is on a direct line heading "up."

I agree, the shape is off a bit. The Little Dipper is wider at the bottom than at the top of the water-holding part, and the the handle is curved the other way.

In the Enterprise Patch I noticed that it is missing the half blue hemisphere shading in the Bussard Collectors, other than that, they look real authentic. This is the only discrepency that I found. Great Job, Reverend. [Wink]

What about some pre-warp patches?

The Charybdis?
The ships from Up the Long Ladder?

You're all right, it's the wrong dipper.
That's what I get for trusting a cheap astronomy website, they must have mislabled that picture.

Done that one already.

Maybe, once I've finished designing the actual ships.

Hmm. Well. That's still not correct. The North Star is actually not part of the dipper (and the first one, the Big Dipper, was correct). Take the front wall of the dipper, and place the North Star above it in a straight line five times as long as its height. That would make the constellation a lot smaller, though.
