Without trying to derail this thread, can someone explain to me what the hell is up with the orientation of the Chronology's hospital ships? They all look like space stations, and not at all like ships.

I figure that it's the dorsal side as with the rest too, with an annular warp drive (obviously).

Irishman, your take on the Pointer class is excellent. Even without the new evidence from ENT a redesign and refinement of the somewhat shapeless SF Chronology designs was due, and this one fits perfectly with the era.
