Nice! I love Cowboy Bebop! My only quibble is that Ed looks... off, for some reason. I can't tell if it's the original line-art or your coloring, though.

Try giving her both blonde and brunette hair- sorta a holographic disguise to look either way. (in the comics, the blonde hair is a wig)

Tried it. Looked weird. Besides, I like the mixture of black and blonde, sort of says "black canary" in and of itself. Plus of course hair colour is hardly a reliable method of identification in city of millions, so I think her identity is safe, at least according to the rules of comic book logic.

It's just a couple of blurry squiggles with a dodge filter. After 2 years colouring a webcomic I've become very practised with the funky lighting effects.

Indeed you have- I showed that pic to my roomate and he's going to read all the web-comics to see who everyone is. I could tell him that most are just charcter ideas but that would lessen the overall mischief. And the world need more of that, IMHO.
You should start drawing your own stuff like, HEY! where the hell is Aban these days anyway? As I recall, he got married- possibly he's been reproducing and being responsible or somesuch.

Well he's in for a wild goose chase. I think less than a dozen of those designs are actually from the strip. Still, congrats if he makes it all the way through! Even I had trouble understanding what the hell was going on half the time.
I'm sure I've seen loitering Aban around a thread or two in the last few weeks, or maybe months. I think it's as much down to the board being allot quieter than it used to be as anything else.

Yeah, as soon as I griped that Aban is never around, I saw him on another thread. Aban! Post some new art ya slacker!
It's strange, we get a LOT of new members but they seem mute....possibly you've intimidated them with your mad skillz.
