Back on a colouring tack again today: Rogue Coloured Now that I've stood back from it for a few hours, I'm afraid I might have made it a little too dull...
I take no responsibility for the political views of fictional characters or the artists that ink them. We colourists dwell in a nice moral grey zone. ...Besides, Superman does that all the time! Although if you ask me, she looks more blissed out than anything. Maybe it's the way he drew the eyes but I was left distinct impression that she had partaken of the gange and had paused to examine the fascinating shape of the clouds. I'm sure there's a Bill Bailey gag in there somewhere...

Thanks, I was going for the old "I could disembowel you with my little toe, but I'm not in the mood" type expression.

Strangely enough, Tim Drake, not Jason Todd, became Red Robin in the comics (just a month or so back).

Er...yeah. that's all of them. Tim Drake is by far a better, more interesting and believable character than Dick Grayson, Jason todd or that Damian kid (the son of Bruce and Talia) that's wearing the new Robin costume.
Plus, the batmobile now flies, and no, it's not anywhere near as cool as the Batman beyond version. The art is attempting to do a psydo-retro thing: the cars all look vaguely 1950's-ish and it really does not match the rest of the DC universe (where they sort of keep things looking like the real world).

The first time I tackled this one it was over 3 years ago (May '07? how time flies!) and since then I like to think I've learnt a thing or three. So I thought to mark the time, why not go back and redo the thing from scratch? It's still the same basic design, it's still Cassandra but the techniques and the (for lack of a better term) skill is all new!

The face certainly looks better and more in line with the Batman Beyond style, although I'm not sure what's up with the exaggerated swagger you gave her...
