Well it is a studio floor after all.....Such floors are concrete and are covered with a polymer layer that fills in dips in the floor and gives a flat surface that you can move a camera dolly across effortlessly. Stinks to high heaven as well as it cures. Now you know a wee bit about TV Studios. That said, it is the same colour I took from my engineering set for TOS, which had a black glossy studio floor. A grid will be put down this weekend.

Great. I like how you reconcile the two styles of engineering (TOS and TMP).
