Well, it had to be done - there are now ships named for three of our best-known posters on Starbuck's Shipyard. Baloo, Cargile, Hobbes - take a bow. Unfortunately the Crosswinds servers are offline at the moment; I'll keep trying to upload the updates, but don't hold your breath *sigh*. I'll put another post in when it's all up and running again... Then you can all come enter my contest too!

Best known posters? Er, how to you mean? If you're talking about people who post a lot, Cargile definately wouldn't be there considering he hasn't posted here in ages... But if you're talking about people who are widely known, then Cargile would be in there....

I'm deeply honored, but expected a ship named after me would have a less serious quote on its commissioning plaque than actually appears .

Well, thanks. Suprised to be listed a "three stooge" too. When I saw the topic I figured my name wouldn't be there. Anyways....
Can't get to the page, that server must be down again.

Decided to make a ship in his name too. I'd upload it on my site but Tripod is a bitch when it comes to pics so I emailed it to Fabrux.
Still can't get to that page either. Though it seems hard to believe, Crosswinds appears to be worse than Tripod and Xoom put together.

Ya know, I was wondering. Just which stooge am I supposed to be?
You know, there were really six Stooges. You think I'm kidding?
There was:
Moe Howard
Larry Fine
Curly Howard
Shemp Howard
Joe Derita
Joe Besser
And what about Hobbes?

Well thanks Fabrux, but I was kinda hoping to post it myself. I even made up some specs for it. Oh, by the way, those are suppose to be phaser strips like on the Galaxy-class nacelles not torpedo launchers.
Hobbes-class; a hybrid of Galaxy/Nebula/Excelsior design with technology that meets the standards set by the more advanced starships in Starfleet such as the Intrepid, Defiant, and Prometheus-classes. The prototype was launched in late 2374 and in 2375 was fully commissioned.
I FINALLY got to see your ships Starbuck, not bad at all.
