In BOBW pt 1 the Enterprise D fires "all weapons" and uses all the phasers and torpedos in concert. Does squat, however.

But that was not multiple beams fired simultaneously from the same strip. That was multpile beams fired in rapid succession from the same strip along with multiple strips firing simultaneously with single beams.

Those are some phat volleys! I stand corrected.
Though the individual blasts look pretty weak. Of course, these are small ships, so it worked just fine.
Of all "powerblasts" though, I think the opening phaser-blast by the 1701-E in FC, with the beam almost totally white and with that deep sound, was the sturdiest.

"multiple strips firing simultaneously with single beams" was what I was getting at, though. And symmetrical, like this. Wandering from the top of the strip, like always, and stopping just below the middle.

I can hardly wait! Lobo, you are one hell of a graphics genius! Who needs Okuda when we have you here? Which program did you say you used for creating the MSDs - was it Illustrator?

But to be honest, I hate Corel Draw - whatever the version. Of course that's only my personal opinion. The damned thing used to crash my machine just too often. But seeing what you manage to do with it I should perhaps reconsider...
