By definition, the original. Although I've never even seen the new one.

That's a strange definition of, er, "definition".

Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

Original. Considering that new looks halfway finished...

"Hi, I'm conducting a survey today.
Which option do you like better, option A (the good one) or option B (the evil one)?"

"Oh well, in that case I like option A better, even though I have no knowledge whatsoever about option B"

I really hope no one here is going into statistics.

Roughly 34% of us are, I believe.

The new one. And the FTL jump effects are cool as well without being overly drawn out like the Trek warp effects.

BTW, (this might be construed as a spoiler) did anyone notice that many of the ragtag fleet ships were CGI models of the original models from the series?

I didn't catch that, Dukhat. Very interesting.

I'm going to throw my support behind the new version of the Galactica. The original always looked very boxey, and the side views always looked unbalanced to me. The new adds a few curves (but not too many), and I like the ribbed look of the outer hull. I say the new version.

I see no problem with the new version. The old version always looked hollow somehow, I'm guessing because it was. This one looks solid.

I think that each rendition of the ship was appropriate for its own time of production.

How's that for a non-answer? [Razz]

Did the new BSG have any capabilities other than being a glorified fighter carrier? For example, did it carry any weaponry heavier than anti-aircraft guns to shoot down Cylon fighters??

Asking just to ask, or under the assumption the original didn't? Cuz it did, as seen most prominently in "The Living Legend" -- big ol' nuclear missiles. Yum.
