"...adding 'er' after a word ending in 'a'..." Actually, I think that only happens if the next word starts with a vowel sound. I could be wrong, though.

Vowel, bowel, whatever. Could you give an example? I've heard the "er" thingie ending sentences, too.

It's been so long since I read it, I forgot how it was spelled. I'm a bad bad bad bad person.
OTOH, no one has yet called me on misspelling "preemptively" in the "Fourth Season Rumor" thread...so I guess it's a wash.
