Since Christmas is only a few weeks away, I assume everyone by now already knows what they want for Christmas, at least for the most part. Or, if you've distanced yoruself from your family, you at least know what you're going to buy yourself. So, basically, just put in this thread what you want for Christmas (realistic gifts please...).
Myself, I never ask for much, so my list merely has 7 things: - 5GB Apple iPod MP3 Player - 2003 Star Trek Ships Of The Line Calender (to be supplied by girlfriend) - 2003 Star Trek Stardate 365-day Calender - Frank Herbert's Dune - U2's "Best Of 1990 - 2000" - James Bond 007 Special Edition DVD Box Set - Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
I plan to get about 5 of those things, and then a lot of clothing.

I don't even have a list, then again this is my first Christmas that I will be away from home.

Well compared to what I'd ask for as a child, 7 is small. And 1 wasn't really a request, I just needed something for my girlfriend to get for me.

Bah, Christmas. 'Tis the season for commercialized crap. Ever year, my mother asks me what I want for Christmas, and I tell, "I don't have a clue." She's asked me this question six times in the past week. It's getting annoying. I'm ready to tell her, "A cute boyfriend with a massive penis to make me his crying little bitch." I don't think that joke will go over too well, though.

Possibly because you wouldn't be joking.

Don't worry about getting Dune, just ask for sleeping pills you will get the same results.
I've already read Dune years ago though, I just want a copy of my own.

If I were to tell my mother that joke, I'd probably be hearing about her desire for grandchildren a hell of a lot more often than I do now. Bleh.
