If First of Two were the judge...

Obviously the plaintiffs are too stupid to be allowed to own any personal property. Off to the asylum for them.

And their lawyer is unethical enough to be disbarred. It is so ordered.

Both plaintiffs and lawyer will pay the defendant's legal fees, along with the sum for which the plaintiffs were suing.

Case dismissed with great scorn.

Does it? I thought certain things (like rocks), would just melt, if subjected to enough heat.

Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

I think the woman didn't know that leaving things unattended, especially if things are being cooked or heated, could lead to a burning kitchen. Looks like she didn't take any cooking lessons.

I just left burgers on the barbeque, a roast in the over, soup on the stove, popcorn in the microwave... If I'm stupid enough to leave all this stuff and go out, I DESERVE for my house to burn to the ground!

My microwave caught on fire once ... (well, what I was heating in it, at any rate) ...

Luckily, I was in the kitchen. Doused it with a glass of milk. I've still got the microwave.

Among the rules I follow in life are (partial list):
  • Always keeps your eye on the ball while sitting in great seats at a ball game...
  • Never stare at the sun...
  • Never leave a toaster unattended...
  • You won't get a direct answer from Sol no matter how hard you try...but you have to try...
  • Never vote Republican...

And the bat, for that matter. I got nicked in the arm once. And I didn't even get the bat...

Was it at a major league game that you got nicked?

Erm... If the toaster didn't stop heating when it was supposed to, shouldn't they be suing the toaster company, if anyone?
