No, it did not appear in the first 4 seasons of TNG.
Summary: It is not Humanoid It is not Artificial It is not from TOS It is not larger than Hobbes, assuming that Hobbes is a Defiant-Class Starship It is from TNG It is not a celestial body It is unknown if it has a brother It is not from DS9 It appears in only one episode or movie It was not pissed off...... It can't kill you if it wanted to Worf would win if he used a bat'leth-shaped barstool against it. It is not in the first 4 seasons of TNG

I've been around. I just got a new compy, and have spent way too much of my free time playing Jedi Knight and Birth of the Federation.
"Re Omega: he's probably still prowling around, pissed off at 'The Raid!!' topic and the hiding he received over at the Flameboard"
*ROTFL*
That's the funniest thing I've heard in quite some time.
'K, back to the SSA...
This is just thinking out loud.
The creature from "Darmok" comes to mind, but it's questionable whether it was humanoid or not, and whether a bat'leth would kill it.
There was a crystal in "Man of the People", and another in Aquiel...
The dogs in "True Q", but they might be artificial, since Q apparently conjured them into existance. 'Course, that would depend on whether they were the actual dogs Amanda had, or just duplicates.
The aliens from "Timescape", "Interface", "Phantasms", "Emergence", and that Ronin thing from "Sub Rosa", but again, would a bat'leth kill them?
Q: did I list it above? Feel free to disallow the question.

Yes, it did appear in seasons 5 or 6.
Omega: None of your guesses adequately match the criteria that you mentioned. In many cases, they can actually kill you if they wanted to (unlike what was shown in the summary). The possible exception is the dogs in "True-Q". If the dogs were big dogs like Rottweilers, then yes, they can kill. Otherwise, well, they're not it.
As for the crystals, the one in "Man of the People" nearly killed Troi, and the one in "Aquiel" could theoretically kill you via Telepathic Overload.
Because you mentioned so many things in your post, it somehow narrows the search criteria quite a bit. I will have to count this question.

Yes, it was before "Face of the Enemy", and no, it does not have any metallic parts.

No, it is not a Taspar Egg (though, I must admit, it's a very good guess. I would have never thought of that).
Yes, it is before "A Fistful of Datas"

There were the transporter beam creatures in "Realm of Fear", but they were created by a transporter, and thus not natural. And they were really human, anyway, and thus humanoid.
The rift in "Schisms", but it was artificially created by the subspace aliens.
Neither could be killed by a bat'leth.
That reef triggerfish shown on the screen in "Rascals" couldn't possibly count, but failing all else...

Ugh, tough one... it's been a while since I've seen TNG, so my guess is Livingston, the tiger fish in Picard's fish tank. *lol* (okay, so he was seen more than once, I am out of ideas)
