It may have been funny, but "Profit and Lace" insulted my intelligence. And I'm Canadian.

Actually, I'd forgotten about "Business as Usual". It's my favourite Quark episode.

I'm Australian and I simply thought "Profit and Lace" was OK. It neither impressed or offended me.

Indeed, "Business as Usual" is one of Quark's finest hours.

Some of the reactions I've read on the net - from Americans... just... didn't get it...

OKm, maybe my praise was a little over the top - but not harsh at all - like some I have seen...

I generally didn't find it that funny, Andrew. It did have its moments, though. I remember finding the bits where Rom reveals his feminine side quite amusing.

well when DS9 is 'bad' its good...

I think "The Muse" was pretty crap.
