UPDATE: It was noted in Nemesis that Picard had made 27 first contacts (certainly not a spoiler as it had nothing to do with the course of the movie) as well as a brief exploration of it in his Duty Record string...I thought it would be interesting to explore what these species were from what we have seen in TNG.
Here is all of the First Contacts we viewed in TNG either by Picard and or someone under his command, I'm basing this on things they communicated with. ( indicates questionable encounters ) SEASON ONE 1 Encounter at Farpoint, Part I: Q 2 Encounter at Farpoint, Part II: Farpoint Jellyfish 3 The Last Outpost: Ferengi 4 Justice: The Edo God 5 Datalore: Crystalline Entity 6 When the Bough Breaks: Aldeans 7 Home Soil: microscopic inorganic lifeforms 8-9 Symbiosis: Brekkans & Ornarans 10 Skin of Evil: Armus (Troi) SEASON TWO 11 The Child: 'the child' energy creature (Troi) 12 Where Silence Has Lease: Nagilum 13 Pen Pals: Dremans (Data) 14 Q Who?: Borg SEASON THREE 15 Evolution: Weasleys [sic] evolved nanites 16 The Bonding: Marla Asters "ghost" (Jeremy Aster) 17 Allegence: The species responsible for creating the 'imposter' Picard. 18 Tin Man: Gomtuu (Tam Elbrum/Data) 19a&b Transfigurations: Zalkonians (the original and extra crispy) SEASON FOUR 20 Future Imperfect: Barash (Riker) -- Clues: Paxans (Data; unofficially) 21 First Contact: Malcorians (Riker) 22 Galaxy's Child: huge parasitic eel 23 Nth Degree: Cytherians SEASON FIVE 24-25 Conundrum: Satarrans & Lysians 26 Imaginary Friend: "Isabella" (Clara Sutter) 27The Inner Light: Kataans SEASON SIX 28 Schisms: Antimatter-aliens (Riker) 29 The Quality of Life: exocomps (Data) SEASON SEVEN none that stick out
Okay, granted this isn't complete, and perhaps not a true first contact situation, but I am sure the name "Picard" in mentioned somewhere in the footnotes of whatever xenology text these aliens would be indentified in.

Hey numbnuts, if you actually payed attention to some of the posts, you would realize that in the Picards career post there is an aweful lot of debate regarding his diplomacy and first contacts enough to throw that thread off tilt enough to need to form a separate idea just for that.
Your sacastic and sardonic comments are not appreciated.

So tell me then, Twatfeatures Girl, why not post this in whatever tedious thread your anal-retentive little subject was in? Better still, why not just do what all self-important newbie dorks round here eventually do, and fuck off back to whatever malodorous little shithole spawned you?
And, I'll say it again, as we so often have (maybe you'll get the message one day): shut up, Wesley!

I'm hearing Charlie Boy's boots out there, coming into the thread, don't you, Vogon...?
So, this means the Enterprise barely encountered any humanoid species? They are all energy entities, which seem to be dime a dozen in the Alpha Quadrant. "Boldly going where everyone went before", indeed.

Ooo ouch burn...haha...yeah, you know, its funny, because it is and it is right here in: GENERAL TREK....Duty record of Jean-Luc Picard, I'm sure being the old salty dog on campus yourself would have read it four times by now.
So, suddenly my "tedious...anal-retentive little subject...thread" IS in the same subject, and is not so...irrelavent. I suggest reading it and then proceed to stand up and pull that stick out of your ass with whatever bug crawled up there with it. I am certainly not out of line posting this any less then you are being a pompus ass.

Ahh yes, the renouned charm of an Englishman. Im sorry, this too is completely irrelavent as well.
Again, your sacastic and sardonic comments are not appreciated.

Im not really sure that applies because it was the end of a civilization that they were aware of previously.
quote: Angel One: The inhabitants of Angel One?
No, when they made contact they said they wished to renew their whatever...it wasnt a first contact, nor were they part of the federation, i think it was mentioned that they were contacted...like 80 years ago of some crap like that.
quote: The Outrageous Okuna??
No, picard was aware of both species and that they settled there like 200 years prior...
quote: Who Watches the Watchers: The Mintakins (by mistake)
uhh...maybe, even though they had been spying on them for quite some time...you could say the same thing about the Ba'ku then as well.
quote: Aquiel - the life-form that mimics what it touches
Im not sure that applies...they didnt really talk to it, they if at best "discovered" it.
quote: Frame of Mind - the aliens that kidnap Riker
no, i believe that starfleet was aware of them, becuase it was those aliens who trying to sift info out of riker on starfleet
quote: Liasons - the Aliens who visit the Enterprise, and with whom Picard ends up crashed with.
I think that was classified as a cultural exchange...possibly following a previously made first contact.
quote: Attached - the Pritt
no, the Kes-pritt were attempting to apply for federation membership.

What? What did I do? I mean really think about it here for a minute...a thread regarding Picards first contacts seems more relavent then dicussing his first contacts in a thread about his duty record. If you dont like it dont read it, either way I dont think it is necessary to be slamming on me just for the pure satifaction of slamming on someone.
