You're completely wrong. They're obviously the same set re-dressed. Yeeesh!!!!!

Hey. I was all ready to upload an image with all of the FF bridges (and the floor plans that I have) when I found out the upload page is broken. Capps, is there a problem with it? Is anyone else having a problem uploading?

So what is that center post thingy in front of the viewscreen on the Ent A and Ent B bridges? There's a line pointing to it on the A schematic in the first link there.

Guys, I've looked over the bridge scans from Bernd's and Fitz's sites. Frist, the Nebula class bridge is niether the Sutherland or the Farragut, it is the USS Prometheus, NCC-71201 from Second Sight DS9. Although I would love to see more bridges scanned from both the Fact Files as well as Star Trek Magazine, since they use similar drawings asnd such. In fact, last month's USS Dauntless looks interesting, this months USS Relaint and next month USS Grissom bridges and hopefully we will see the Pasteur bridge was well as variations for a class, like the many we saw for the Miranda class as well as the Sutherland. Who knows, maybe even the Excelsior, Oddysey, etc. to keep it complete. Good jobs on the scans and clean up guys. Thie is one of the many reasons why I like Trek.

Okay, as promised. Thanks to Bernd and Fitz for scanning the majority of the bridges from Fact Files. If you guys know of any floorplans that aren't here, let me know. http://flareupload.hypermart.net/files/bridges.jpg

Unknown. I personally think it's an unmanned auxilliary display console like the ones they have at the front of the Defiant. Timo, however, thinks that it's actually the conn console, as a) the helmsman was found under it, and b) tactical was one of the two forward stations. It's possible, but unlikely IMO.

Actually, the dude who mannned the front console was sprawled out on top of it when the alt-E-D's away team beamed in. Castillo(?) was the helmsman and IIRC they dug him out of a pile of crap off to the side. In any case, it was made pretty clear during the Klingon attack that kills Garrett that Castillo's station was one of the front pair and that tactical was the other.
I think the very forward station might have had a chair in the show that was omitted on the diagram, and if so, might it make sense for it to be Ops? Or was the Ambasssador too early to have such a position?
In any case, I just went to the babelfish, and proving that factfiles descriptions sound dumb in any language, babelfish-mashed or not, got the following for the lower right callout:
quote: the stations fur steurung [conn, one would suppose] and takitk [tactical] are before the command armchair. Them consist of a comfortable, light brown chair and spread extendable consoles.
The callout that appears to come off the mystery console in in fact just an inane comment about bridge lighting.

The_Tom, the Fact Files aren't quite THAT dumb-- I speak a little German and can understand most of what that says. But you're right, the information is pretty superficial. For the first entry (top, left) says:
quote:Like other Starfleet ships, the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-C has a circular bridge. However, it is not quite as compact as its predecessors, as it has fewer consoles and a more efficent organization of its space. (The last part is a little vague for me as far as syntax goes, but I'm sure I properly translated the important words.)
