No, it wasn't. The Stargazer bridge was a redress of the original Connie bridge - you can tell by the wall stations being identical to the movies' bridges for STI-IV. The E-C bridge was a relative newbuild, being seen previously as the bridge of the Hathaway and Data's lab (and subsequently as the new battle bridge on the E-D, the bridge of the USS Pasteur, and various othr sets through TNG).

one more question about the Nova bridge: why is the conn console split in half? is this Starfleet's version of the "ergonomic keyboard"?

That's a neat thought, but no. Actually, i think two people are supposed to be down there, but given the Equinox's circumstances at the time, it doesn't surprise me there's only one person at the console at the beginning. In Part Two, the forward console was consistently manned by two people; however, they were constantly standing, and the chair was gone.

Okay, several questions/points/observations/etc. First, regarding that wonderful gigantic bridge compilation that I rapidly copied to my hard-drive. WHY DO THE ENT-A and ENT-B BRIDGES HAVE SQUARE TURBOLIFTS?! *Bangs head against wall* Okay, second, why does the original Enterprise bridge circa 2265 have a SECOND turbolift? Is 2265 TAS?
Also, in Star Trek this magazine thingy I picked up a while ago, it says in an interview with Berman(?) that the battle bridge of the Enterprise-D was a completely new-build set. So there was a SECOND battle bridge I assume that I have not seen. *plaintively* what does it look like?

The turbolifts are square because the people who drew those schematics are morons. Actually, the E-A overhead schematic isn't really the correct proportion - you can see the the two seats at the science and comm stations where there should be just one, and the forward stations should have twice the seats shown.
To be fair, I believe the Excelsior rebuild set in "Flashback" had a square lift, though. And the emergency turbolift to the battle bridge on the E-D was definitely square. Ditto for the original Excelsior turbos from ST3, for that matter.
The TOS second turbo was only ever seen in TAS. Again, it's a misidentification. I would take te fact files drawings, pretty as they are, with a large grain of salt. Like the Sovereign bridge. It's so misproportioned it's not funny at all.
The second battle bridge set on the E-D is the one seen in BoBW II. In ts two prior appearances ("Encouter at Farpoint" and "The Arsenal of Freedom"), it was the refit Enterprise bridge redressed. In the multi-bridge picture, the second battle bridge is in the overhead view, while the fist is the Fact Files picture.

Can I mention at this point that the BOBW battle bridge was really, really cool? Thanks.
