I haven't checked the copper version yet, but I just have to mention, I was looking at the big clear picture from the Sketch Book - that I have on the 'puter and I don't think there IS any 'vent'/'grill' white, copper or otherwise!! It's completely covered over. It looks like there is a grill - but it's just where two parts of the hull plating meet. I'm guessing the holes on the top of the nacelle... the little circles are like the circles on top of the defiant...

Theoretically, there could be field grills on the ventral side of the nacelles. If the Sovereign class can have it on the dorsal surface, it's possible for a nacelle to have it on the ventral surface.

Ventral nacelle-field grills! I like... Where the pylon connects to the nacelle, it wraps around - which doesn't sorta work, when you think about it, with the field grills being on the lateral and medial faces of the nacelles. BUT, does that 'wrap around' connection go ALL-the-way around?
Also looking at some First Contact screen-caps - even though any Norway appearance is murky at best, it seems to fit that there is no lateral or medial field-grills - as any glow seems non-existant - even taking into account the 'quality' of the shots we get of the nacelle. We do in some views see the bussard collector glow.
Just looking at the sketch-book picture of the Norway again. And I noticed that the whole bottom-half of each nacelle is white!! I wonder what is up with that?
I also would like to ask a few question on who designed her - was it Alex Jaeger? I'm intruiged with the 'train tracks' on top of the nacelles. As mentioned earlier by others and then by me it looks as if it could be a part of moving the nacelles for use in some sort of variable warp geometry. I noticed when looking at the picture maybe the 'other position' is with the 'pylon connection' up at the other end where the 'train tracks' are a little indented.

That makes a lot of sense. I always thought a ship firing phasers from it's deflector was weird.

What if the phaser is rim mounted and not placed somwhere inside the hole in the nose section? I'd say a deflector in that nose section makes more sense than below the saucer, but I have to think of the Miranda all the time. Maybe those two have more in common than we thought. Or this Norway was some sort of testbed, either for a prototype 'no-deflector-at-all'-design or the weapon we see is not a phaser but the same kind of deflector-pulse Riker planned to use against the cube in BOBW, only modified. (Since we know you can use the deflector - at least the Galaxy- and Intrepid-deflector - for virtually everything... )

The bottom one. That is unmistakably a deflector.
BTW, why is the Intrepid's deflector so large? Anyone know?

Maybe because they designed it much smaller and it looked funky, and they decided "it must be much wider!"
Or (simpler) asthetics!

I'm not going to start this again. If you want to fight like last night Pm or email me.
Snay, you have bad sense of time. If the wedding WAS going to happen it would have been 4 hours and 30 minutes ago. But the groom ate rancid sauerkraut and couldn't attend. I had to get out my dusty old tux for nothing. I just now realized that I said it was mine. God, do I fell like a dumas*! It's not my wedding, its my neighbor Bill. He's dumb. Me and Sarah ARE getting married later this year or early next. And we ARE engaged.

That wasn't a fight, silly boy. That was initiation, Flare-style. And you're lucky Magnus Ultra went so easy on you. I go so easy on you because of CC's orders.
But your story has so many holes in it, it's hard not to question you on it. You specificly said YOU were getting married today.
