The vehicles in Team Knight Rider all had their own names... I don't remember what they were and I'm not bored enough to go look. But Team Knight Rider was stupid (except, of course, for the girls). It was right up there with V.I.P. and had no connection at all to the original series.
Knight Rider 2000, the made for TV movie, featured a then-brand-new TransAm with all kinds of new goodies, including the ability to operate on the surface of water. Sadly, the original model car never made an appearance except for brief flashbacks. All we got was KITT's cpu which didn't look quite the same as it did on the series.

Didn't KITT's CPU change in the original series?
Sorry, my memory of Knight Rider is really quite bad.

It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

Except for some chick sneaking into the briefing room (did they LIVE on that fucking gigantoplane?) to attempt to access classified files on Michael Knight.

KoshINcorrect...!/Kosh
The Knight 4000 was puilt up out of a Dodge Stealth to cosmetically appear extremely similar to the Pontiac Banshee concept car.

Hmmm. I stand corrected. I'm not really a car guy. It looks like a modern Pontiac to me... but like I said, I really don't know what I'm talking about.

I can quote from 'And Maggie makes Three' as well as the next man:
"Every week there's a canal!" "Or an inlet." "Or a fjord."
Now let's stop.

The plot twists of "Team Knight Rider" were so ridiculous I had to go out in the kitchen and scream at the water faucet.
In one ep I zapped into by chance, two evil bimbo twins walk right into a military compound up to a helipad with a plot device "prototype heli-gunship". They sweet-talk the pilot who starts to giggle and brag about the thing, then the girls take out one handgun each and says to the about 15 nearby soldiers, who have M-16's on their shoulders, to drop their weapons!!! And they do so, dropping down on their knees!!! Then the girls leave, in the super-chopper of course.
I zapped away at that time, but I'm 99% certain that damn Team Knight Rider managed to destroy the helicopter without harming the beautiful twins, because they are beautiful and this is a kid's show.
Oh, and can anyone get me an estimate on how strong the engines on a Hercules-class cargo plane must be to enable it to lift off vertically, in tiltrotor-fashion?
