We appreciate your concern. It is noted and stupid.

I suppose this really belongs in Network Projects, but I'm too damn tired to put it there now. *L*
Title says it all, folks - what sort of stuff do you want to see with Flare2? This is only the fifth restart... This time using an interface Jubes whipped up that will break out of the forced 600-pixel-wide system currently in use.

I'd like to see a 'last message posted by ...' type of flag on the main forums screen. Also a personal message folder would be nice (although I believe you already planned such a thing), with the ability to show that there are new messages.

Well, just about everything that I want is already coming, but I think it would be nifty to be able to use simple UBB codes such as bold and italics in thread titles.

Yes, lets see I want a soft ice cream dispenser, big screen tv, new car..... oh wait that is my christmans list. Seriously I don't know of anything.

I'm registered at another board that has rainbow smilies (as well as some other rather bizarre ones like, for instance, sheep doing the nasty. *L*)
I want the rainbow smiley! If I ask the board Admin, can we include it? :-)

Whatever you do please refrain from adding cheesy background-wallpapers of supernovas, plasma storms or fiery clouds because it really makes it hard to read, even if you put the text-brightness to 1000%.
In the words of my master, Gary Busey; Plain and simple!
Shockwave-fx is also highly hated from my POV, what with all those corny buttons and levers flying around, locking into place and beeping whilst the flashing messages spurt out clichs about how good the site is!!! But that's no problem for now since there's no chance of anyone incorporating "Shockwave" in the UBB anytime soon, so I'll calm down now, breathe into paper bag, have some frozen yoghurt.

You can't put backgrounds inside the UBB tables unless you do a MAJOR amount of hacking, so don't worry....
Also, Charles doesn't do anything with shockwave, and never creates anything tacky, so you don't need to be scared about that.
I'm helping with the design, too..... and I don't design anything that looks silly.

He may not create anything tacky, but that doesn't keep him from buying stuff that is. (That damn sheep blanket, anyone?)

Only one request: line-wrapping for excessively long URLs.
I can stand the extra-wide table boxes caused by a large image, but overly-wide boxes caused by a 3-yards-long URL, however interesting, bug the @#$% out of me.
Other than that, I have the utmost confidence that F-II will be just fine.
