People in non-French Canada called "Louis" prnounce their name "Louie"? You're sure they aren't just calling themselves "Louie" as a nickname?

Then again, I should expect as much from the people who brought us "Re-jye-na"...

I know a Louis. He pronounces it Looie. Then again, his last name is Gigou, so he's a bit french. [Smile]

Tim: Actually, the British say "Re-jye-na", too. At least in reference to queens, i.e. "Victoria Regina."

Very droll.

Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

Well, getting it back on topic.

I move on Tuesday. I've packed most of my stuff up -- toys, VHS, laserdiscs, too many books to count, packed into over a dozen boxes, and still many more things needing packing. I get my keys Monday late afternoon, and I'm going to start taking stuff over then. My boss is lending me his pickup, and I'm going to move everything else on Tuesday.

I put in my change of address late -- as in, today. I hope the interuption isn't too prolonged (anyone had any experience with how quickly the USPS gets this stuff through?). I'm also losing my internet connection on Monday night, and it isn't being hooked BACK up until Thursday AM. Oh well, it'll give me a chance to get up on my reading, and get my stuff unpacked, furniture reassembled, and the new place liveable.

Tomorrow I hopefully finish packing the stuff in the apartment proper, and perhaps even venture into the closet. Monday I need to finish packing, disassemble some pieces of furniture, and get ready for the big day! I'm so excited.

Show pictures... and what do you use to get online? DSL or cable?

Not a very good quality camera ... shaddup. What'cher lookin' at is the pile of boxes, furniture, etc., which must be moved. I also STILL have to get into the closet.

I was SUPPOSED to pick up the keys at 4 today. But NO, they're not in from maintenance, so I can't get in until 10am tomorrow. ARGH.

I, too, desperately want a place of my own. But with the housing market being in the state that it is (ENORMOUS demand, CRITICALLY low supply), and my financial condition being that of Skinny College Boy, the EARLIEST date I can get a shot at one is sometime around 20-fucking-10... big fucking HOORAY for student housing corporations and municipal relief programs.

Snay, congrats. Throw a housewarming party for me. 8)

WOOHOO!

The keys will be in by FIVE, which means I'll have 'em before SIX tonight!

Cart: this is my third apartment in four years (so far I've averaged two years a place), and my second apartment with NO roomate! [Big Grin]
